We have moved to a new documentation platform. This section is no longer supported. For the up-to-date information, see Exception Handling.

The Exception Handling action is intended to ensure a safe execution of your automated workflow by providing the try-catch functionality. This action is a complex one and consists of two blocks:

  • Try to complete – contains a set of actions that can result in an error.
  • If an exception occurred – contains a set of actions to be executed only if any action from the Try to complete block returns an exception.

During workflow execution, bot performs actions from the Try to complete block one by one.

  • If all the actions from Try to complete are completed, bot skips If an exception occurred and its child actions and moves to consequent actions.
  • If any action from Try to complete results in an error (e.g. image or window not found), bot skips all other actions and starts executing the If an exception occurred actions.
